She was born in 1994 in Kayseri. She completed her primary, secondary, and high school education in Kayseri. She graduated from Erciyes University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics and Glass Design. Representing her university, she participated in many group exhibitions, competitions, and received various awards. After graduation, she opened her own studio in Kayseri, where she continues to work. Since 2013, she has also been working as an assistant to the artist Mahmut Karatoprak.
In her series of “Sculptures Living in Their Own Different Worlds,” Gözde Aylis Çiçek showcases her sensitivity to detail and her deep understanding of how clay gains vitality through forms that express the innocent female figure.
