Artist Nusret İbrahim Yurtsever completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Kastamonu University in the departments of Art Education (2015–2019) and Art and Design (2019–2021). He is currently preparing his doctoral dissertation titled “The Aesthetic Transformation of Contemporary Art in the Context of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Art.”
Blending traditional and digital techniques in his art, the artist incorporates augmented reality (AR) into his airbrush-on-canvas works, offering viewers a dynamic and continuously evolving experience. Using the harmonious chaos of color and form to engage the viewer’s sensory perception, he creates works that resonate with Arthur Schopenhauer’s understanding of aesthetics. Inspired by his childhood memories and a fascination with the visual allure of balloons, he produces balloon-themed artworks.
While balloons symbolize the transience of human life and the fragility of memories, their bright colors and organic forms transport viewers back to their childhood and evoke a pure aesthetic experience. Guided by Schopenhauer’s aesthetic philosophy, the artist seeks to help viewers transcend the anxieties of daily life and attain a sense of universal awareness, inviting them on an inner journey that elevates aesthetic pleasure.
