Born in Iran in 1984, Tirdad Mardasi has been creating realistic figurative works using oil paint and charcoal since childhood. Although he studied civil engineering at the University of Tehran, his passion for painting led him to gravitate further toward fine arts alongside his professional career. He participated in various solo and group exhibitions in Iran and continued his work in the studio of renowned painter Rahim Beheshti.
Driven by the desire to expand his artistic horizons, Mardasi moved to Turkey six years ago, focusing on pastel art. He studied pastel techniques under Javad Soleimanpour and served as his assistant for a year. A powerful balance between technical mastery and a profound human narrative stands out in Mardasi's works. By blending traditional figurative approaches with modern techniques, the artist produces pieces that deeply resonate with viewers both aesthetically and technically.
