Artopol Gallery Contemporary in Istanbul

The 15th edition of Contemporary Istanbul, taking place this year, has been making significant contributions to the city’s cultural landscape since 2006. Supporting artistic production and continuity in art, the fair provides a platform for artists’ creativity while helping them establish a stronger position in the art market. It creates an innovative space where those within the market — and those who wish to be part of it — can keep up with current developments. Thus, it continues to succeed as one of Turkey’s most prestigious art events.

Contemporary Istanbul, which has been followed with great interest for years, is once again being held this year at the Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Center. The fair, taking place in the Rumeli Halls, features booths from Turkey’s leading galleries, solo exhibitions, and contemporary art performances. With its artist days, it also fosters communication between collectors and artists.

Organized in accordance with pandemic precautions, the fair continues to excite art lovers despite current conditions and postponements. Promising a much-needed artistic break, Contemporary Istanbul will be open for preview on June 1–2 and for general visits from June 3–6.

As a contemporary and new-generation gallery, Artopol Art Gallery is participating in Contemporary Istanbul this year with a strong lineup of artists. The Artopol booth, featuring more than 30 works by fourteen talented artists, stands out with its striking and diverse selection. This selection, including works in various techniques and materials such as painting and sculpture, appeals to different artistic styles.
